As women, we have many things in common. I believe we, as Nigerian women, have our own peculiar challenges, limitations and our strengths. One might ask if there is any such thing as a Nigerian woman, or say that a woman in Nigeria is first a Christian or a Muslim, then an Ibo, Efik or a Hausa woman e.t.c., before thinking of herself as a Nigerian woman. Well, no matter our religious or ethnic or sociocultural differences, as long as we all live in this country called Nigeria, we have many things in common with each other, with other African women and with women all over the world. We know ourselves better than anyone else can. We know how to help and support each other. Feel free to ask questions, make suggestions, offer solutions or just vent if you have something you want to get off your chest. Not a Nigerian woman? We still want to hear from you.
